This Early Bustle (1868-1875) beauty is decorated with no less than handmade velvet pansies in a rich burgandy color,
small yellow thread flowers that remind one of dandelions, and peach/red velvet roses.

The back of the hat features a turned up brim to reveal cocoa colored doupioni lining and strings
and another small boquet of flowers.

The strings on this bonnet tie behind the head over the hairstyle with the bow
resting captivatingly at the nape of the neck. A large curled ostrich plume finishes the look.
