Kids History Why Did I do This? Well, it has to do alot with the way I was raised. I was taught one should give back to one's community in some way. The Internet has been very good to me- my commercial site Shooting Star Enterprises has brought in business for me, always just when we were looking for a way to get the bills paid. I thank God for those blessings, and for the blessing of all of my friends in the reenactment/living history community. I get questions through my regular site on weekly basis from school children, and it occurred to me that they really needed their own site to explore, somewhere safe. I have a young daughter and I want her to always be safe. My parents and grandparents have always been active in community projects, I've been a member of 4-H and Rainbows, so a "service project" on the internet just seemed appropriate. I have about a hundred thank yous that need to be said, so much love goes out to - My parents and grandparents- for raising me right My husband for allowing me the time for this project Mrs. P- for challenging me in my Highschool Home-Ec My sis for teaching me the basics of html My friends for their support, input and editorial views My Lord for giving me the talent and the opportunity to use it.
