Hard Tack
4-5 cups flour
2 cups water
2 pinches salt
Knead flour, water and salt; roll out onto greased 12X13" pan; cut into 15 pieces.
Pierce each piece with 16 holes. Bake for 30 minutes at 425 degrees, turning crackers over at 15 minutes. Reduce
temperature to 200 degrees and bake until all moisture is gone from the crackers (approx. 8 -24 hours). Crackers
should not burn in an oven set at 200 degrees, so they may remain in the oven long periods of time.
