Corn Dodgers
1 quart cornmeal sifted
1 tsp salt
1 Tablespoon butter or lard (melted)
cold water(enough to make a soft dough)
Mix first 3 ingrediants with cold water to make a soft dough. Mold into oval cakes with the hands and bake in a
very hot oven(400 degrees) in well greased pans, until crust is brown. These should be eaten hot.
