Costume Help
The costume help listed in here is meant to have a historical "feel" and be as accurate as possible while remaining on a budget.
I will try to explain the main parts of the costume and list what they were made of and what an inexpensive substitute would be.
All the links are not active- I'm adding as I can.
Be aware this is not used for true historical reenactment,
but instead suggestions to help kids "get into" history.
If you want true historical patterns please
look below.

Archibald's favorite picks are marked with his pickaxe
The crossed pickaxes
indicate great sites that may be a little more complex, you may need a bit more help with them.

Parent's NOTE!
I make all of my own costuming and therefore have NOT ordered from the below listed sites- I realize what a job it is to sift through the internet for possibilities, and therefore I have done some digging for you. The first list is slightly better looking costuming, but also probably slightly more expensive, the second list is Halloween type costumes. I make no guarantees about historical correctness- I can only do that with my own dresses.
