Horseshoes Dress #2-SOLD 34-36" Bust- Early Bustle Period(late 1860's early 70's) - Simulated overskirt trimmed with black middy
braid and bias cut self ruffles. Sac style bodice, tied in with a ribbon sash. Yellow cotton print with a striped
effect, metal buttons. (The sleeves are a bit short on the Maniquin- she's about 5'9" and these are meant
to fit an average height.)
Matching Hat available-SOLD Black felt, with yellow satin ribbon trim, tiny pink and ivory roses, black ostrich plumes and a lovely yellow
feather butterfly. Sewn on trim
Horseshoes Dress #4-SOLD 1875-1880's Bustle Era (bodice cut with front, side back and back pieces) 47 " bust Light weight Sage green print (cotton/blend?) with green cotton braid and metal buttons. 3 piece dress with
bodice, skirt and overskirt. Bodice fully lined, easily altered. Good price because of questionable fabric- it
isn't shiny like a synthetic, but didn't pass the burn test as 100% cotton.
Horseshoes #6 - SOLD ! 39" bust- 1899 style dress in a
berry/burgandy sateen with a false "waist" front, 5 gore skirt, adjustable waist. Lovely dress for a
Gibson Girl! - This dress came back to me- Someone wasn't honest with their measurements(I do mean 39" bust-NOT
42" although it would probably work as small as a 36"). Also I would like to point out the alternating
gores on the skirt seem to be slightly off in color(two pieces of fabric that looked like they matched when purchased
but evidently were from different dyelots.) SOLD!
