The old saying goes "Close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades." We have become very dissatisfied with the clothing available for the Old West/ Victorian Reenactor. And so, we have taken great care to bring you historically correct cuts in our new line of ready made clothing. These aren't custom clothes but "they're close enough for Horseshoes©" Unlike many companies, these are our own design inspired by years of research through original pieces, pattern/tailors systems, and period fashion plates and photos. We have a real desire to put your historical accuracy and truthfulness about "proper" styles and fabrics first, we will worry about our "profit margin" secondarily.

We have made a few "modern" shortcuts in making these items that we think you will forgive- machine made buttonholes and topstitching, serged seams where they will not show at any time when the garment is being worn. Nothing you should notice unless you are "as close as a saloon girl's corset" All of these little shortcuts are intended to keep your costs down and will in no way detract from the outer look of the garments.
