A Worth Gown This elegant dress was a copy of a Charles Worth Gown shown on the www.mcny.org site
under their textile collections. To copy the exact original fabric would have been extremely costly so we settled
for a reflection of color and style. It is made of Brown silk noil, rose china silk and a silk brocade. The dress
features a knife pleated ruffle and lace on the foundation skirt, graduated dagging on the skirt and bottom of
the polonaise style top, hand covered buttons and heavy fringe. From Lisa -
